My husband and I happened to be visiting Scotland and went along to join in the celebration of arts and entertainment!
During the Fringe, there is an array of vibrant street performers right in the heart of the city. These entertainers create an amazing carnival atmosphere during the summer.

There are thousands of people who have all come to see the spectacular acts who travel from all over the world to entertain the crowds. We were thrilled to see acts from New Zealand on the programme. The Taki Maori Haka Experience, from Auckland, performed plenty of songs and delighted the crowd with the Haka.

But imagine our delight while watching the street entertainers we came across a very familar circus act, it took us a few minutes to realise that it was Fuse Circus! How exciting, to be on the other side of the world and be able to watch the talent of Fuse Circus at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the last time we saw them perform was at the Otaki Kite Festival in their show Campground Chaos.

After their performance, we went over to say hello, in fact we said “How’s Otaki?” They were so pleased to see fellow kiwi’s that we were greeted with a super friendly hello and a great big hug! We really enjoyed the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, but it was made even more special by seeing Fuse Circus!
